Heather Overby has been selected as Vice President of Finance and Accounting for the Kentucky Municipal Energy Agency in addition to her role as Chief Financial Officer. Her responsibilities include accounting and financial reporting activities, Member settlements, as well as all treasury functions.
After beginning her career with Deloitte & Touche, LLP, Mrs. Overby has worked over 20 years in the municipal public power industry. She has served as Chairman of the Prairie State Energy Campus Finance Committee, Chairman of the American Public Power Association Business and Finance Conference Planning Committee, and Chairman of the Tennessee Valley Public Power Association Finance Committee.
Mrs. Overby holds a Master’s of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Accounting from Regis University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Transylvania University. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Kentucky and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kentucky Society of CPAs.
